DBA/Developer (Atlanta, GA, or other unanticipated locations throughout U.S.).
Overview
Our team is looking for an experienced DBA/Developer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: Writing software solutions, unit tests, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Building and adopting general capabilities for Data Ingestion, Rules Authoring & Execution, and Analytics capabilities. Designing software to replace multiple legacy applications within Treasury Technology. Developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Developing and testing banking/financial practices. Debugging and identifying performance issues and providing software solutions. Supporting and helping the application development team to develop & deliver optimized queries and database objectives. Working with Application development team and understanding the requirements and providing better optimized solutions. Performing spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risks or implement new ideas. Monitoring the database performance and storage and working with DBA team if any DB issues arise to find solutions. Supporting month-end release process and month-end production run. Assisting team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Documenting and communicating required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participating, contributing, & mentoring delivery/release (CI-CD) events, branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Providing software development and focusing on data load & processing of data. Delivering database design, modeling, management and working in SQL, PL/SQL in Oracle. Delivering strong database architecture design knowledge and concepts and applying experience in SQL and performance tuning to handle huge volume of data/ Oracle Exadata. Providing experience in Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Indexing, Query performance tuning and oracle concepts with big data architecture and cloud computing. Working in Java, Hadoop/Hive, Neo4J, Apache Spark, PySpark, Kafka and MongoDB, Airflow, Nifi or any other DAG based tools and CI/CD tools.
Qualifications
M.S. in Computer Science or closely related. 24 mon. in any related Oracle, PL/SQL Software Development Position. 24 mon. in: SQL; PL/SQL; Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g,12c, 19c; Oracle Tables & Index Partitions, Oracle Performance Tuning; Unix Shell Scripting; Cronjob; Oracle Reports; Crystal Reports; SSRS; SAP BO; Actuate 9.0 with SP1; Interpretation Explain Plans; Informatica 8.6/ 9.1; SQL Trace; DBMS profiler; AWR reports; Autosys. Telecommuting permitted. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
