Overview

Our team is looking for an experienced Data Architect.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: Gathering, analyzing, and coordinating information across all critical applications as they align to the service data restoral plans. Engaging application owners by critical service and their support functions via data surveys. Reviewing Q/A information and leveraging follow-up conversations where needed. Engaging and partnering with technology leads by service to develop a data restoral plan for each critical service. Leveraging inputs from application SMEs, surveys, tech partners and enterprise partners. Aggregating information to craft a resiliency plan around application capabilities/risk/observations for data restoral. Engaging with data and facilitating multiple routines to represent data quality control executive (DQCE) functions for the resiliency work. Contributing to the maturity of the DQCE resiliency work and routines as the enterprise matures in this space. Developing and maintaining a DQCE playbook, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to ensure the DQCE functions and deliverables are met. Understanding data management fundamentals, including metadata, data quality, and data governance, and applying those to daily tasks. Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data through strong analytical and organizational skills. Bridging the gap between technology and business aspects and clearly articulating requirements and solutions. Creating intermediate level SQL software and reading/understanding SQL statements from software developers. Applying Excel pivot tables, vlookup, load csv files, manipulate data, apply common functions. Planning data resilience, development, and governance with the data management technology (DTM) organization.

Qualifications

M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or closely related. 12 mo. exp in any related Data Scientist position. 12 mo. in: Tableau Analytics; BMC Remedy; Python; PMP Project Management; Agile Scrum; TOGAF; Informatica; Snowflake; Production data sanitization. Telecommuting permitted. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
