Infosys is seeking a Windows Administrator. A Windows Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Windows-based systems and servers. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT infrastructure aligned with organizational goals.
Required skills:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Wichita KS or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• At least 3+ years of Data Center Windows Servers Administration, PowerShell scripting & Active Directory
• This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens only
• Extensive experience in System Administration & Maintenance
• Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers (physical and virtual)
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core Windows services
• Ensure timely patching, updates, and system hardening and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (network, security, application) for integrated support
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization
• Use tools like SCOM, SCCM, or third-party solutions for proactive monitoring
• Participate in audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards
• Test and validate recovery procedures regularly
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate regular reports on system health, incidents, and project status support infrastructure projects such as server migrations, upgrades, and cloud integrations.
Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSA, MCSE, etc.).
• CNA or CCMP or equivalent network certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification or similar IT service management certification.
• Strong communication and Analytical skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
