Windows Automation Engineer
Infosys is seeking for a Windows Automation Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infra Engineers and Subject Matter Experts
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Fort mill, SC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• Hands on experience working with Windows2022 environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet).
• Basic Knowledge with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understand industry processes and the customer requirements and suggest feasible technology adoptions.
• Working knowledge of one of more areas of Datacenter operations - Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Network, Backup, Database, Middleware, AD/IAM, Tools, Application operations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for configuration, deployment and provisioning of VMs.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and improve workflows.
• Monitor automated systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Maintain documentation for automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with security and compliance standards.

• Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation.
• Planning, Coordination, and Analytical skills.

• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
• Certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or automation tools.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
