UX Lead Designer

Infosys is seeking a UX Lead Designer primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Required Qualifications: -

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At Least 4+ years' experience in define and develop user personas, user journeys, and user flows to deeply understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Create high-fidelity user interface designs and clickable prototypes using industry-standard tools like Figma and Adobe XD to communicate design intent.
  • Lead and participate in user research activities and usability testing, applying insights to iterate and refine designs.
  • Manage requirements gathering to ensure UX design solutions align strongly with client and business goals.
  • Demonstrate end-to-end knowledge and ownership of the User Experience design process, from discovery and research through to design delivery and validation.
  • Engage effectively in client interaction and stakeholder management, presenting design ideas clearly and incorporating feedback constructively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Maintain proficiency in leading UX design tools and stay updated on emerging design trends and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience as UX Design with a strong portfolio and at least 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Technical expertise needed includes proficiency with design and prototyping software (e.g., Figma), experience with user research tools, and often familiarity with front-end development.
  • Experience in Agile environments is must
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
