UX Designer

Infosys is seeking an UX Designer. In this role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or Princeton, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 4 years of experience in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
- Deliver key documentation, including mockups and prototypes, to guide developers.
- Conduct user experience research, both qualitative and quantitative, to inform design decisions.
- Review user feedback to identify areas for improvement and perform usability tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a user-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in design thinking and interaction design principles.
- Strong portfolio of design projects & strong understanding of storage use cases and ability to design for storage domain
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability), communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
- Participate in daily work planning sessions, work with design, engineering and project management in an agile fashion. Find and diagnose issues with existing code, report issues via bug. Track progress of features, user stories, and defects.
- At least 4 years of experience in Producing low/high fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes, demonstrating fluency with design tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch and InVision (or comparable)
- At least deliver low and high-fidelity mockup of pixel perfect quality.
- At least 2 years of experience in creating personas, story boards and empathy maps for the assigned stories.
- At least 2 years of experience in creating icons, fonts, posters/flyers, sketch templates for products/teams/site.
- Create rapid prototypes using UI technologies, create components/modules to grommet design system.
- Deliver design ideations following business and user interviews, building personas, user flows and information architecture & host various ideation workshops for stakeholders and product owners and customers.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates in the below locations will be-
Princeton, NJ: $76,071 to $98,893
