Infosys is seeking an Automation SDET Selenium and Java Test Analyst
As a QA Test Analyst, you will act as a validation and quality assurance professional across the different stages of the Testing lifecycle: you will develop, design and deploy test scripts and cases of complex modules, help set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design for different types of testing. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Preferred Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Test Strategy, Test Automation, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & Reporting
• At least 2 years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium including Framework development, Framework maintenance, Framework Optimization, Automation Strategizing, Automation Planning and Automation Test Execution
• Strong Knowledge in Core Java, Selenium, Oracle DB, Web Services, Agile, DevOps, SQL, DataStage
• 2 years of Experience integrating test automation framework into a CI/CD pipeline in a DevOps and Agile environment.
• Participates in Agile software development projects to design, code, and test websites and APIs, and Micro services to deliver quality services.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in Web services / API's
• Design and develop automated test scripts that ensure applications meet their functional and business requirements.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills to understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment
• Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes.
• DevOps CI-CD implementation experience with more focus towards Continuous testing.
• Experience and desire to work in a team having diverse / multiple stakeholder and Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
