Technology lead - Cloud Migration

Infosys is seeking a Cloud Migration Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, AB or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience with .NET Core and C#.
  • At least 4 years experience in Any Public Cloud, VMware, Linux, OVM, Hyper-V2+ years experience in Ansible, Kubernetes(EKS)
  • At least 4 years experience in DevOps(Terraform, Cloudformation and CI/CD)
  • At least 4 years experience in application cloud migration
  • Should be able to apply the cloud migration experience to compliance applications containerization and deployment (For Mantas like or any other custom apps)
  • Applications support will be added advantage
  • Experience across the full system development lifecycle.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools like SonarQube, and Git.
  • Knowledge of additional front-end or back-end technologies is a plus.
  • Manage the team and provide technical guidance.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Create user interactions on various platforms and optimize code for mobile.
  • Develop databases and services for functionality.
  • Oversee and guide the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software.
  • Implement automated testing and provide feedback during the development process.
  • Maintain and upgrade software following deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software systems.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
