Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead/Technical Test Lead - Mainframe, Python skillsets
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.

- 4+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Mainframe & Python experience is mandatory.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Exposure to cloud-native telecom solutions
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation.
- 4 years of experience in Automation and testing Skills in creating Test Strategy, Test scenarios and Test cases with hands on technical knowledge.
- Strong domain knowledge in telecom systems.
- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Experience in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Unix, Java, Python, Mainframe).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working in offshore and onsite model.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and engineers across telecom projects.
- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored to telecom systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution using tools like JIRA.
- Drive automation initiatives and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with telecom standards and regulatory requirements.
- Define and execute test strategies for functional, UI/UX, compatibility, functional testing.
- Provide regular QA status reports, metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
