Technical test Lead
Infosys is seeking an QA Test Lead,
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- All applicants authorized to work in the United State are encouraged to apply
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bluebell, PAor be willing to relocate one of these areas. This position may require travel.
- At least 4 years of working experience in QA Testing
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Planning and Strategy: Develop a project test plan and strategy. Understand the project requirements, define the scope of testing, and determine the appropriate test methodologies and techniques to be used.
- Team Management: Assigns tasks, coordinating resources, and monitoring the team's progress. Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to enhance the team's productivity and morale.
- Test Execution: Responsible for overseeing the actual execution of test cases. Ensure that all test deliverables are completed on time and meet the required quality standards. Monitor the test results and provide timely feedback.
- Defect Management: Identify, document and track defects with Jira. Responsible for overseeing the defect management process, which involves documenting, tracking, and resolving any issues or bugs discovered during testing.
- QA Design and Execution Estimates: Estimate the QA work to be performed.
- Managing Test Data and Environments:
Ensure that the test environment accurately represents the production environment. Ensure that the test data is realistic and adheres to PMA sensitive data policy, as well as covering all possible scenarios. - QA Risk Management: identify and monitor QA risks including mitigations. Reach consensus with scrum master or project manager on risks.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
