Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Testing Lead.
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City or Pennington, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Minimum 3 years' experience within Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & Reporting
• 4 years' experience in Cobol, CICS, JCL, JCL, VSAM, ISPF, Smart-TS, control M, JIRA, Endevour
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
• Must have experience with ETL along with Mainframe experience.
Preferred Experience:
• Ability to lead an automation team of 5-6 team members, able to assign and monitor testing tasks to closure
• Participate in project meetings to understand functional and non-functional requirements and create test strategy
• Ability to perform test case reviews
• Integrate client feedback and ensure deliverables are according to agreed specifications
• Experience with testing strategies and test execution
• Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies
• Basic domain knowledge in Banking / Financial Services
• Experience managing team size of 5 would be a plus
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
