Role Description:
- Take end-to-end bottom line responsibility for a Project right from proposal to project completion; build the project team, schedule assignments, monitor, review, and report project status; manage project risks; ensure successful delivery and implementation; take complete ownership of people and their performance management in the project with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of services offerings to clients within their domain, service and technology area within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing, customs and logistics; experience in leading development for supply chain management applications. Knowledge of tools available in the market for supply chain management would be a plus.

- Has in-depth understanding of different processes and best practices of PM to find proactive solutions for complex situations and execute multiple complex/ critical projects.
- Understands end to end business/functional processes to translate business requirements to system requirements and perform impact analysis of changes in requirements.
- Knows standard architectural principles, models, patterns and perspectives or Business Process Management to provide inputs for architecture specifications and design guidelines
- Builds context and common platform and uses appropriate data/examples/anecdotes to support complex ideas, adapts the message to the audience group for good understanding Understands others points of views and uses logic to bring out the reasons for disagreements and discusses them openly to convince others or to arrive at a common understanding while keeping the business intent in mind Highlights the key takeaways several times, involves the audience frequently, encourages questions to create buy-in and tactfully manages difficult questions
- Anticipates customers needs, provides inputs for solutioning, demonstrates industry understanding and provides inputs to the customer on areas other than project work and builds confidence with the customer at higher levels to be treated as an advisor. Analyses and constantly improves systems, processes and nature of service being provided to ensure customer delight by establishing standards and benchmarks for quality Brings up unresolved issues with the client, understands stakeholder views, strikes a rapport and resolves these issues by using tact and influence keeping in mind organizational interests
- Communicates the interdependencies across multiple teams within own area, drives convergence across these team to deliver on organizational goals Identifies underlying potential areas of conflicts pre-empts them where possible by looking at alternatives to ensure smooth functioning across teams Drives development within the team by creating stretch assignments, not giving direct solutions to problems but encouraging team members to come up with them to develop independent thinking to foster leadership Inspires teams by demonstrating commitment to support the team take up and deliver on tough challenges by role modelling through personal presence and partnership; motivates the team by institutionalizing systems to reward, recognize and differentiate good performance.
- Has basic knowledge of commercial models, proposal submission process, presales process framework, best practices and Infosys business model parameters to submit pricing inputs, convert leads to opportunities and submit quality proposals
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Engineering in IT.
- Domain Skills : Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Customs, Logistics domain knowledge. Understanding of the purchase order, shipment, inbound and outbound shipment flow in detail.
- Tech skills : Understanding architecture principles to be able to drive requirements to readiness for Development. Knowledge of at least one tech stacks Java/.Net, Knowledge of cloud service offerings, understanding of NFRs, Middleware - Kafka, others, Databases - Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres. Knowledge of AI tools used in development.
- Project Management : Planning, Execution in Agile Scrum / Kanban methods. Running all agile ceremonies, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines of teams' deliverables, reporting status Sprint delivery and forecast to Management.
- Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathizing of different culture, Automation mindset.
