Tech Lead

Infosys is seeking a Senior Mainframe Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing the programs with COBOL; developing screens with CICS.
• Experience in developing programs on Assemblers and migrating programs from Assemblers to COBOL.
• Involve in Design, Documentation, Implementation & testing of full life cycle projects.
• Ability to work well in both team/individual environment with innovative support, having sound Analytical and Technical skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, learning and organizing skills matched with the ability to manage the stress, time and people effectively.
• Performing development activities like creating MIA-Tasks, Scripts, SSH-Keys; setup PGP-Encryption, self-schedules.
• Gather the FTS requirements from stakeholders and develop the MIA-FTS-Parameters sheets.
• Configure/Schedule the Control-M jobs to drive the MIA-Tasks part of File-Transfers.
• Extensive experience on PRODUCTION deployment of MIA-Tasks along with warranty support

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491
