Infosys is seeking Supply chain Manufacturing Infrastructure Consultant who is analytical and detail-oriented t with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical infrastructure team, translating business needs into actionable requirements for managing and enhancing our diverse IT systems. You will leverage your understanding of technologies like Microsoft Active Directory, Linux, VMware, and server management to analyze processes, define solutions, and support the delivery of robust and efficient infrastructure services.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in Active Directory management, server environments (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware), database usage (SQL/MySQL), and web services (Nginx).
• Experience in (Python, Ansible, Powershell)

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with business users and technical teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements related to IT infrastructure services, including
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing infrastructure processes (e.g., server deployment, user provisioning, system monitoring, migration strategies) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization or automation.
• Solution Definition: Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, or use cases for the infrastructure team to implement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key communication bridge between technical infrastructure teams (Server Admins, Network Engineers, DBA's) and non-technical business stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process flow diagrams, system context diagrams, and potentially support the creation of user guides or training materials related to infrastructure changes.
• Technology Understanding: Develop and maintain a strong conceptual understanding of the technologies used within the environment (Active Directory, Windows/Linux Servers, VMware, UCS, Databases, Nginx, TCP/IP, MacOS) to effectively analyze needs and potential solutions.
• Automation Analysis: Identify opportunities where scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Powershell) can improve efficiency and reliability, and define the requirements for these automation tasks.
• Support & Troubleshooting Analysis: Analyze infrastructure issues from a business impact perspective, assist in prioritizing resolutions, and contribute to root cause analysis by understanding user workflows and system dependencies.
• Project Support: Support infrastructure projects by defining scope, objectives, and deliverables, tracking progress against requirements, and assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where applicable.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical domain.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts 1 into clear business terms
• Ability to work in a collaborative multi-application team environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
