Infosys is seeking a Sr. Project Manager with Quality Engineering experience in Telecom Domain.

As a Sr. PM , you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • 10+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a project manager role.
  • Strong domain knowledge in telecom systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working in offshore and onsite model.

  • Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and their application to QA.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.), and best practices across multiple projects.
  • Define and drive the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and product roadmaps.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics and KPIs to measure and report on the effectiveness of QA efforts.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex QA projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among QA teams, development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of QA engineers, testers, and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring optimal team productivity.
  • Drive the adoption and optimization of test automation frameworks and tools
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
