We are currently seeking a Sr. Paid Family Medical Leave Business Analyst (SME) to join IPS.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Consultant will provide expert-level industry knowledge as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) requirements. This position will be hands-on in the creation of user stories and other system requirement documents as well as providing leadership to other SMEs and/or Business Analysts.

This position is responsible for providing input into the creation of project plans and meeting the deadlines established in the project plans. This role will also lead and organize content responses to proposals by ensuring that the responses meet the customer requirements thoroughly and completely and conform to the established "win themes" of the overall proposal response. This role will also coordinate and participate in oral presentations to customers showing a command of Paid Family Medical Leave.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to lead and participate in proposal responses, oral presentations, and other pre-sales activities.
  • Must be comfortable and confident presenting to and meeting with client C-Level leadership.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Paid Family Medical Leave domain.
  • Must have experience in delivering Paid Family Medical Leave programs.
  • Must have direct experience gathering and communicating business requirements to technical staff.
  • Must have the ability to review and enhance the design products created by Subject Matter Experts to allow for faster more accurate consumption by related parties.
Preferred Experience, skills, and abilities
  • Commercial software development and ongoing support.
  • Experience writing User Stories.
  • Relevant salesforce certifications.
  • Be flexible to meet with resources in varying time zones outside of normal work hours.
  • Travel to client site (up to 50%) but may be higher or lower based on the client engagement.

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
