Your role
As a MSSQL Database Admin , you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose, and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Job Description: SQL Server Database Administrator with at least 4 years of experience with expertise as per below responsibilities and requirements.
Required:
- Database management including backups, recovery, and maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Applying Patches and Service packs to keep the SQL Instance at current patch level.
- Hands On experience on SQL Server Upgrades\migrations from lower version to higher versions
- Good knowledge on High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, Specially Always-On.
- Database administration activities for DB Security (Creating Logins, Users, Roles, and assigning permissions to them.
- Monitoring and resolving data lock and block issues.
- Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions, and background processes.
- Windows Server Knowledge to troubleshoot Infra level issues, Disk IO etc.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.
- Certifications like MCTS, MCITP, MCP etc.
- Good Windows Knowledge
- Python, PowerShell or dotnet scripting Knowledge for Automation
