Role: Senior Technology Architect
Location: Wellington, NZ
Salary: NZ142604-159547 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data platform architecture and migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.
- Design and implement data solutions, including cloud migrations, data masking, and observability for containerized workloads.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, develop high-level and detailed designs, and provide starter code for implementation.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams across multiple countries, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and execute strategies for CI/CD, DevSecOps, and hybrid cloud monitoring.
- Perform security assessments, implement IAM permissions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in pre-sales environments, delivering compelling product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud, data, and AI, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects and data platform implementations.
- Strong technical acumen in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and mentor diverse teams across different geographies.
- Expertise in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and hybrid cloud monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data solutions.
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with automation tools and practices (Terraform, Chef, Jenkins).
- Experience in pre-sales and product demonstration environments.

- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge in a relational database management system
