Infosys is looking for SAP Senior Project Manager- Integrated Operations Manager.

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be a key player in the program management team that helps discover and define the problem statement. You will participate in an end-to-end journey from building project roadmaps for your customers on all of the SAP programs, organizing assessments, due diligences, transformation workshops and partnering with customers with a rapid deployment approach. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding technology solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.   • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Location for this position is Columbus, IN. This position may require 100% travel and or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications -
  • At least 11 years of experience in Project Management and handling of IT operations (Applications and Infrastructure) - SAP and non-SAP
  • At least 10 years of experience in project scoping, estimation and scheduling
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes & methodologies, DevOps and architectural frameworks
  • Must have handled a large team across multiple applications (including SAP)
  • Able to partner with internal / external IT and business stakeholders to maintain service level KPI and SLAs across applications
  • Accountable for meeting customer expectations and service delivery performance
  • Strong Analytical and communication skills
  • Must have implemented continuous improvement initiatives in the AMS operations space related to ticket reduction, productivity improvement, automation and ticket elimination
  • Should have experience in setting up command center control for IT and business. This includes Infrastructure monitoring, application monitoring and Business process monitoring
  • Experience with generating various reports reflecting service delivery status quo and highlighting improvement opportunities and plan to achieve service excellence
  • Must be familiar with Contract management, scope change management
  • Must have managed transitions for new application areas, transition from projects to support, transition from third party vendors
  • Provide project execution, coordination and technical expertise relating to planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining IT solutions related to various application environments.
  • Must have managed Large Engagements into Application Maintenance space and bring in best support practices for day to day operations
  • Must have managed at least 50-60 member team and familiar with people management, mentoring of team members and be a source of motivation
  • Error Reduction or Defect Prevention Plan to bring down the number of Problem and Incidents. Mentor remote service team during technical escalations or major/critical incidents.
  • Determine work priorities in accordance with project schedules, changing work demands, and policies and practices; coordinate resources for project/support and assign work to internal and client teams as necessary
  • Ability to streamline and socialize support processes across the IT team and client business stake holders
  • Must have managed Large Engagements into Application Maintenance space and bring in best support practices for day to day operations

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, system integrators and vendors to construct and deploy various solutions in accordance with established strategy and architecture.
  • Manage risks, issues, and implementation plan to ensure high quality implementations.
  • Provide project governance and provide required guidance for project documentation
  • Ensure appropriate quality controls and adherence to standards of performance through which Services are maintained, whether technical, operational, administrative or management activities and staff

  • Provide project execution, coordination and technical expertise relating to planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining IT solutions related to various application environments.
  • Experience in DevOps model with Agile methodology. Certified SCRUM will be an added advantage
  • Manage the system landscape in accordance with best practices and client IT project management standards.
  • Manage project financials and create management financial tracking and reporting.
