Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Consultant. As a Senior Ariba Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
- This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.
- At least 2 years of experience in SAP Ariba.
- Configure SAP Ariba indirect procurement solutions to support indirect materials and services purchasing processes.
- Manage indirect procurement sourcing events such as requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), auctions, and supplier negotiations.
- Facilitate supplier lifecycle management, including registration, qualification, performance evaluation, and risk assessment within SAP Ariba modules like Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP).
- Utilize SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing to process purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and invoices for indirect spend categories such as office supplies, IT equipment, professional services, and maintenance.
- Apply guided buying tools to promote compliance with company purchasing policies and simplify user experience for casual and functional buyers.
- Oversee contract management activities using SAP Ariba Contracts, from authoring and negotiation to digital signature and integration with PO and invoicing systems.
- Coordinate with technical teams to maintain SAP Ariba integrations with ERP systems (such as SAP S/4HANA) for a seamless procure-to-pay process.
- Analyze spend data using SAP Ariba Spend Analysis tools to identify savings opportunities and optimize indirect spend strategies.
- Support continuous process improvements, enforce procurement policies, and reduce maverick spending through policy-driven workflows and configurations.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to procurement users and suppliers on SAP Ariba functionalities.
- Experience in SAP Ariba indirect procurement modules: Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance.
- Experience in configuring and managing the source-to-pay process for indirect categories using SAP Ariba's tools.
- Familiarity with procurement processes for non-production goods and services, including requisitioning, purchase order lifecycle, invoice reconciliation, and contract compliance.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system configuration and assist with impact analysis for business changes.
- Experience in SAP integrations, particularly with SAP ECC systems, is a strong advantage.
- Analytical skills for spend analysis and reporting to drive category management and savings initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate among procurement teams, legal, suppliers, and technical resources.
- Experience in procurement best practices, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies in indirect procurement.
- Experience in procurement roles with SAP Ariba, especially focusing on indirect materials and services.
- Background in industries that rely heavily on indirect procurement such as IT, manufacturing support services, facilities, and professional services.
- Certifications related to SAP Ariba or supply chain management and procurement are advantageous.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps and cloud procurement workflows for enhanced user experience.

In CA / WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN:$73,000- $102,200
In Washington DC: 66,500-100,300
