Senior Project Manager with Electric Utility Domain Experience

Infosys is seeking a Senior Manager for Electric Utility. In the role, you will manage projects in Electric Utility-Transmission & Distribution. You will organize and monitor large size project (for IT applications) in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution Enterprise Asset Management/Work Management with high maturity, effectively coordinate with project teams including product vendors, other IT teams, client teams and other stakeholders across projects. You will develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities, manage issues, risk, scope change and assigned resources. You will align and manage project activities as per Infosys & client processes including STPS activities, support client OCM and roll out activities. You will assess project performance and aim to maximize efficiency in delivery, assume responsibility for the project team, and provide various reports for stakeholder updates.

This position is based out of Oakland, California. The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, California or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology
• Experience of managing large-scale projects (for IT applications) in Electric Utility - Transmission & Distribution Enterprise Asset Management/Work Management with high maturity in a direct client facing role
• Extensive experience in proposal preparation, Planning & Tracking, Issues & Risk management, change management.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working experience in managing projects involving implementation/upgrade/enhancements of products in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution • Enterprise Asset Management/Work Management (ex: Maximo/IFS/Oracle WAM/SAP EAM/Copperleaf C55).
• Relevant project management certification.
• Electrical Engineering or Power Systems background degree preferred.
• Strong problem solving and Excellent communication skills with experience engaging customers and stakeholders
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
