Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior Principal - Business Consultant with deep expertise in prevailing wages and U.S. federal government compliance. This individual will be responsible for guiding business alignment, ensuring compliance, and managing high-level federal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring that Infosys delivers on the compliance, transparency, and functionality expectations of the client while maintaining strong stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the business and compliance authority for prevailing wages within the CPWH program.
- Provide domain expertise in wage determination, Davis-Bacon Act, and other federal wage compliance standards.
- Liaise with the client's stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and expectations are managed.
- Translate federal compliance requirements into functional and technical specifications for the platform.
- Support program governance by ensuring alignment between business outcomes and technology delivery.
- Act as the primary advisor on best practices for prevailing wage implementation in federal programs.
- Ensure compliance and transparency across all CHIPS-funded infrastructure projects onboarded to the CPWH platform.
- Oversee reporting and audit-readiness to ensure adherence to U.S. Department of Labor and Commerce standards.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
- 9+ years of experience in federal government wage compliance programs.
- Deep expertise in Prevailing Wages (Davis-Bacon Act, CHIPS Act-related requirements, federal labor standards).
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks and wage reporting processes.
- Proven experience working with federal agencies (Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level stakeholders in U.S. federal government programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cloud-based compliance platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior role as a Program Manager / Senior Consultant in federal digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with executive-level federal leaders.
Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
