Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Financials Developer/Subject Matter Expert (SME), to join our Team.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle EBS Financials Developer/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) 12.2.9 or similar, with a strong focus on the Financials modules. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle EBS solutions, ensuring they meet our complex business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain objects and code within Oracle EBS 12.2.9 (or similar), with a focus on Financials modules.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS Financials, providing expert guidance and support for Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA), and General Ledger (GL).
- Lead and participate in the implementation of Oracle EBS Financials modules, ensuring successful delivery within project timelines.
- Analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions within the Oracle EBS environment.
- Minimize custom development (RICE) and maximize the use of out-of-the-box (COTS) functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS Financials.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle EBS with other systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle EBS technologies and best practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing objects and code in Oracle EBS 12.2.9 (or similar), with a strong focus on Financials.
- Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in implementing Oracle EBS Financials modules (PO, AR, AP, FA, PA, GL).
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong understanding of payment processing and methods, including EFT and NACHA requirements (relevant to Canadian financial practices).
- Knowledge of Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing for system integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools (VersionOne preferred).
- Experience with IT Service Management systems (ServiceNow preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
