In the assigned job role of Technology Consultant 2, you will be responsible to Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in on-prem and/or cloud environments. In addition, you will be required to m onitor database performance and p erform database tuning and capacity planning to support business needs.

Required/Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated capability in the following areas:
  • Oracle Database- Oracle 12c/19c or higher
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
  • Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
  • Predict the project's time and effort, cost, and scope, and identify gaps and issues
  • Ability to plan and prioritize team workloads by accurately estimating resources and timelines, proactively identify risks, monitor execution against key metrics, and adapt swiftly to contingencies to ensure optimal delivery

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Capability in SQL/PLSQL & expertise in backup, recovery and performance tuning
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
  • Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
  • Steer project through its lifecycle and create comprehensive documents
  • Ability to design architecture and provide solutions
  • Conflict resolution
