Senior Java Project Manager

Infosys is seeking a skilled Java PM to support and enhance enterprise web applications. As part of a strategic engagement with a leading aerospace customer, this role involves working on front-end and back-end components, resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring performance and security compliance in a regulated environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Relevant Information Technology experience.
• E xperience in Program Management and Java
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries/stored procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Java, Entity Framework, and Web API
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools along with Program and project management
• Plan and execute the Development, maintenance, and support web applications using Java, and related technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and service requests
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to implement enhancements and bug fixes
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security compliance . Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
• Work closely with infrastructure and database teams to ensure system stability
• Aerospace or government contracting domain experience . Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
