Infosys is seeking Senior Java Microservice Developer . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Must have skills:
  • Experience in building and supporting Web Development. Working in a software product development organization building modern and scalable web applications.
  • Experience in advanced Java/J2EE Technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE Technologies with in-depth knowledge on Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot with micro-services, Spring-Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA and Hibernate.
  • In-depth knowledge in Spring Frameworks, Reactive Programming using Spring WebFlux.
  • Experience in DB SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • High level knowledge on CI/CD
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently learn new technologies.
  • Passionate, team player and fast leaner.
The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
