Finacle is looking to hire a Compliance Manager to support its Product Team. Finacle is looking for an experienced compliance professional to provide advice and consultation with regard to regulatory requirements impacting product functionality, whether new/changed requirements, or application of existing requirements to new products or features. Candidates not only have to have strong technical compliance expertise, but also familiarity with the application of requirements to system functions.
Job Description:
The successful candidate should be able to articulate regulatory requirements to a range of colleagues in Product, Sales, and Delivery roles. They must be able to work with Product and Delivery to map relevant requirements to product functionality at a citation level. The candidate should be familiar with the various sources of applicable regulations and regularly review such for updates, changes, and new requirements, and communicate these to affected parties. Excellent communication skills are necessary as they will be called upon from time to time to make formal or informal presentations to internal audiences, client institutions, or prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
Technical Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. Federal and State regulatory requirements impacting banking products such as deposit products, loan products, wealth products and payments.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Canadian Federal and Provincial regulations, as well as a general knowledge of regulatory requirements of other countries in Americas Finacle may do business with.
- Regularly review issuances from regulatory agencies reflecting new or changed regulations for impact on Finacle products.
- Perform comprehensive analysis on upcoming new or changed regulatory changes impacting product functionality including POV as to Finacle's proposed approach.
Engagement:
- Communicate relevant upcoming regulatory changes/impacts to affected internal partners.
- Work continually with partners in Product and Delivery Teams to ensure implemented solutions are compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support Pre-Sales and Sales Teams with information as to how compliance requirements are supported in the product and support them in responding to client/prospect compliance questions and concerns (including compliance-related responses to RFP/RFI questions).
- Support new and existing clients with regard to product implementations, regulatory changes, and compliance queries.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation of documentation mapping regulatory requirements to product functionality.
- Create and maintain documentation of the compliance process and function within Finacle.
- Develop position papers on emerging regulatory topics.
- Maintain repository of mapping documents and other documentation supporting Finacle technical compliance, solution approaches, and regulatory POV.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of compliance experience working for financial institutions, fintechs, and/or regulatory agencies in the U.S. or Canada.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations applicable to deposits, lending, and payments.
- Compliance certification (e.g., CRCM) is preferable.
- Exposure to solution design (e.g., core deposit/lending/payment platforms) would be a plus.
