Senior GIS Administrator
Infosys is seeking a Senior GIS Administration - In this role you will be performing migration, manage, maintain and optimize enterprise GIS infrastructure, administering ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store), ensuring system availability, performance, and security, as well as supporting users and development teams in the organization. The role will focus on planning, testing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise migrations across versions(on-prem). You will work on the production workflows, create artifacts like test specifications, perform testing and implement relevant live activities. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX OR willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Strong working experience on ArcGIS Enterprise Administration
• Strong working experience with ArcGIS Suites including ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro, ArcObjects, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Web App Builder / ArcGIS Web Experience Builder
• Strong working experience in ArcGIS Enterprise deployment patterns in cloud environment (Azure / AWS)
• Agile \ SAFe Methodologies
• Collaborate with IT teams, engineers, geoscientists, data managers, and other software developers to define, build, and deliver solutions to challenging problems in the oil and gas industry.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to implement, deploy, and support geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, and geocoding tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Support cross-functional IT projects that rely heavily on GIS technology.
• GIS Web based application development (including Apps & custom widgets), testing and migration of related IT systems.
• Spatial data management, Experience in handling disparate datasets from dozens of systems and tie them spatially.
• Experience in supporting geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, and geocoding tools.
• Experience working on teams following Agile \ SAFe software development methodologies.
• Proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk.
• Good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry.
• Windows Server 2022, Active Directory
• C#, ASP.NET,Oracle
• Azure (Azure Data factory, Azure Data Explorer, etc.), Microsoft ADO boards (Code configuration &
Task tracking tool)
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
