Senior Consultant - Risk BA

Infosys is seeking a Senior BA Risk Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Knowledge of PL/SQL for data analysis, knowledge of data warehouse technologies to store risk data
  • Comprehensive knowledge of liquidity risk models, including stress testing, scenario analysis, and funding gap analysis.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to liquidity risk management (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank Act, LCR, NSFR).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Basel III (LCR, NSFR) and U.S. Federal Reserve liquidity guidelines.
  • Experience with data mapping and integration processes to ensure accurate representation of liquidity positions.
  • Knowledge of credit risk regulatory frameworks such as CECL, IFRS 9, and CCAR.
  • Ability to analyze and report credit exposure across diverse portfolios and sectors.
  • Proven expertise in implementing operational risk frameworks, including RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment), scenario analysis, and key risk indicator (KRI) monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and COSO frameworks.
  • Experience in tracking and mitigating risks associated with business processes, IT systems, and third-party vendors
  • Understanding of market risk concepts such as Value-at-Risk (VaR), stress testing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with market risk tools like Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book).
  • Experience working with financial data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate risk insights to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehousing tools for managing and analyzing large financial datasets.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder communication and collaboration to gather requirements and deliver regulatory reporting and risk management solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management systems and tools (e.g., SAS, Moody's Analytics, or similar).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing regulatory landscapes, and deliver timely, compliant solutions.
  • Experience in top US and Canada financial organization with Risk and compliance applications.
  • Actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design and deployment.
  • Perform complex programming functions, assistance, and technical advice including design architecture, configuration, writing, testing, and documentation to complex programming of client systems as assigned
  • Strong written and verbal communication, client-facing presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
  • Work with Business stakeholders to refine requirements
  • Guiding clients through key design engagements
  • Ability to plan, organize, review, implement associated project milestones to completion
  • Gets involved in providing forms and forms workflow solution that's best suited for clients
  • Develop solutions and provide knowledge transition to the teams both at onsite and offshore.
  • Ability to define proposal solution and create client specific POVs
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 103042
