Senior Consultant - Network Solution Architect - Frankfurt, Erlangen (M/F/D)

Infosys Role : Network Solution Architect

Minimum CCNA, CCNP certified. CCIE will be an advantage. Candidate should have experience in managing datacenters.

Skills:

• Experience in design and development of End-to-End solutioning for Transition and Transformation projects.
• Design, develop, and document network architecture blueprints, including high-level and low-level network designs.
• Experience in working with different Technology OEMs and develop Bill of materials.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into network designs.
• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.

Competencies:

• Strong Knowledge in Network administration processes and concepts
• The following certifications are a plus: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ITIL Service Management
• Technology SDLAN (CISCO SDA) , CISCO DNAC, CISCO ISE, BIG IP , DDI and SDWAN - CISCO
• Experience and troubleshooting in routing (OSPF / BGP routing protocols), VPN and Wireless Highly experienced with Wired/wireless networking and network security
• Knowledge of Tools Design and implementation for Thousand eyes, CISCO Spaces and Stealth watch.
• Good Knowledge of Security Technologies
• Certifications in CCNP/CCDP
• Certifications CCIE (Good to have)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
• Participate in architecture review boards and provide expertise and recommendations on network-related projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and best practices to enhance professional knowledge and expertise.

Network Design and Architecture:

• Assess the organization's network infrastructure and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Design, develop, and document network architecture blueprints, including high-level and low-level network designs.
• Define network standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into network designs.
• Knowledge and experience in Industrial Ethernet platforms- Cisco. Siemens Scalance
• Familiarity with sizing and ordering tools like Cisco CCW, Itangi IRIS
• Knowledge of Network Automation and APIs -desirable

Network Solution Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and software developers, to develop comprehensive network solutions.
• Define technical requirements, specifications, and standards for network equipment, protocols, and services.
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing and evaluate the feasibility and performance of proposed network solutions.
• Design and configure network components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points, to meet functional and performance requirements.

Network Security:

• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security controls and mechanisms into network designs. Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to network security.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies to proactively address network security concerns.

Network Performance and Optimization:

• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct network capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate future growth and expansion.
• Optimize network configurations, protocols, and QoS (Quality of Service) settings for optimal performance.
• Perform periodic audits and assessments of network infrastructure to ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.

Vendor Management and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and select appropriate network solutions.
• Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide technical guidance and support during the procurement process for network equipment and services.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create detailed network design documents, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for network implementation projects.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to stakeholders, including management and technical teams.
