Senior Consultant -Mining, Metals and Process Industry

Infosys is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Domain Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tempe, AZ or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology.

  • Relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and
    developing and implementing solutions. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. Participate in Sprint planning, backlog planning sessions. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities based on business needs and requirements.

  • Maintain and create project documentation (user manual, functional specification, project plan, flowchart
    etc.) up to date.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. Work with development team members, contractors and/or vendors on impact analysis and to complete
    assignments. Facilitate the next generation IT-led solutions and deployment support for small to large scale projects.
  • The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
