Senior Consultant - MDM/Databricks

Role: Senior Consultant
Location : San Jose, Costa Rica (Hybrid)

In this role, you are required to have strong understanding of MDM concepts including data modeling, matching & merging, survivorship rules, hierarchy management, and reference data management.
Strong understanding of data governance and stewardship concepts, including data ownership, issue management, business rules, and auditability.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
• Experience creating analytical queries and datasets to assess data quality, completeness, accuracy, and duplication metrics.
• Ability to analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of data issues.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to business and data governance stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting language to support data analysis, validation checks, automation, and ad hoc investigations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

Qualifications
Basic:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 8 years of relevant experience mentioned in the job description

Preferred:

• 4-5 years of experience in Data Management / Master Data Management
• 2-3+ years of hands-on MDM implementation experience using platforms such as Profisee, Informatica MDM/IDMC, Reltio or IBM InfoSphere MDM.
• Good to know data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
