SAP Succes Factor Project Manager - Technology Implementation (Mining Sector)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic technology implementation project for BHP Chile, focused on adapting SAP SuccessFactors to comply with local labor regulations. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project governance capabilities, with a focus on safety, cybersecurity, and operational excellence in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with BHP Health & Safety and Cybersecurity standards.
• Identify and align HR business needs with project deliverables and scope.
• Define and monitor business value and ensure alignment with the business case.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and operations to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead schedule and cost control, including weekly tracking of risks, opportunities, and progress.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders, incorporating feedback and aligning expectations.
• Manage project resources, including planning, onboarding, and coordination with relevant teams.
• Oversee field execution, ensuring adherence to BHP's Field Leadership Program and safety protocols.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring performance, scope compliance, and timely delivery.
• Maintain and update risk assessments, ensuring effectiveness of mitigation actions.
• Lead transition-to-operations processes in accordance with BHP standards.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all internal and external project documentation.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across project phases.
• Comply with all requirements defined in BHP's Project Management Methodology.

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Commercial, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial), Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, development, or project execution.
• At least 3 years of experience in project monitoring within the mining sector.
• Prior experience working with BHP, including fieldwork, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with BHP's Technology Project Framework (SPMF).
• Experience in Infrastructure, Control Systems, and Applications projects.
• Proficiency in Planview and Microsoft Project (preferred).
• Availability for domestic travel as required.
• Strong skills in budgeting, reporting, KPI tracking, and cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Weekly/monthly task execution and planning reports.
• Stakeholder management summaries (activities, decisions, requirements).
• Dependency tracking with technical and functional teams.
• Remedial action plans for delays or cost overruns.
• Risk, issue, and opportunity reports.
• Progress updates in Planview and monthly 1-pager summaries.
