SAP Senior Project Manager

Infosys is seeking a SAP Senior Project Manager:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Senior SAP Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  
• At least 10 years of experience with Information technology
  
• Candidates may require travel and/or relocation to project locations. Travel to client location Buffalo, NY

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP implementation or support projects with atleast 4 years in an Testing Lead Role
• Ideal candidate should have worked as SAP Functional consultant or SAP technical consultant before leadership role
• Must have experience in atleast 2 end to end S/4 HANA green field implementations
• Must have experience of managing ITIL based operations using tools like SNOW, Charm, Solman, etc.
• Must have good understanding of SLAs, KPIs, AMS governance and other contract obligations
• Experience in r eview of mapping documents for testing and support demos of existing systems through functional leads, developing test plan, test design and providing inputs for performance reporting, Creating functional testing requirement documents (strategy, plan and requirements) and participate to lead onsite-offshore interactions as required.
• Good understanding of one of the SAP Functional areas and interdependency between SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
• Good hands on experience on project management & MS office (MS project , Excel & PowerPoint)
• Strong management and leadership experience with globally distributed teams
• Should have strong analytical skills, should be team-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and coordination skills.
• Strong customer orientation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables i.e. proof-of-concepts, RFP, etc.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
