Salary: AUD 129311 - 142018 (Annual Gross)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO S/4HANA Consultant to lead financial transformation initiatives. The role involves designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including core modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP Finance solutions across a major S/4HANA transformation program.
- Partner with business leaders to define the future-state finance operating model, including chart of accounts and costing structures.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient SAP finance solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Drive end-to-end finance design across procurement, HCM, logistics and asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, change management, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Support business process harmonization, simplification, and adoption of S/4HANA capabilities.
- Contribute to overall governance program and provide quality assurance on finance deliverables.
- Leverage tools such as SAP Signavio for process mapping and optimization (experience desirable).
ESSENTIAL
- Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in SAP Finance with a strong track record of architecture leadership roles.
- At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations in a finance lead or architect position, including blueprint through go-live and stabilization.
- S/4HANA experience is essential, including involvement in finance transformation projects leveraging the latest SAP innovations .
- Proven expertise in defining finance operating models, designing global/local chart of accounts, and cost allocation methodologies.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and integration points across SAP modules.
- SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance or related modules.
- Background in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in complex, multi-entity or global program environments .
