Job Description:
- Develop and own the data migration strategy aligned with SAP Activate methodology.
- Define migration scope, objects, timelines, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to gather legacy data requirements.
- Lead ETL processes using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and other tools.
- Manage staging tables and templates for migration objects.
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading activities.
- Guide and mentor data migration consultants and analysts.
- Collaborate with functional leads across modules (HCM, FI, MM, SD, etc.).
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
- Implement data governance and validation frameworks.
- Address data privacy and compliance requirements specific to the education sector.
- Conduct workshops, status updates, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with SAP and third-party vendors as needed.
- 10+ years of SAP data migration experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud migration tools
- Familiarity with education sector data structures and compliance standards.
- Experience with SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other integrated SAP modules is a plus.
- Experience with Greenfield implementations in public sector or education.
- Knowledge of Australian data protection laws and education compliance frameworks.
