SAP ABAP S/4 Hana Technology Architect

Infosys is seeking a SAP ABAP S/4 Hana Technology Architect

This position will required a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position is based in Austin, TX. The candidate must be willing to work from office regularly .

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7 years of SAP experience with at least 2 large scale end to end S/4HANA conversion experience.
• Senior ABAP Developer with strong hands on programming skills
• Experience in code remediation space with ability to perform custom code impact analysis for S4H with focus on interfaces.
• Should be able to propose and try out different custom code adaption approaches and recommend best approach.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, techniques and protocols
• Experience with design and development of interfaces / APIs with focus on re-usability and configurability
• Good understanding of test automation concepts, experience working on projects with strong test automation culture.
• Strong awareness of secure programming concepts and performance best practices in SAP environments
• Strong experience in dual landscapes and cutovers for various environments.
• Strong experience in managing custom code remediation, upgrades and complex cutovers.
• Strong experience in S/4HANA config and code retrofit and remediation between ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Ability to anticipate & manage risks during various stages of S/4HANA conversion
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to independently drive and handle discussions with client technical managers involving strategic project plans
• Good understanding of interfaces across multiple systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and work with globally distributed teams

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
