Python Developer with MongoDB experience

Infosys is looking for Python Developers with MongoDB experience to join our team for a critical Migration Project in the Service Activation domain. The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting skills, experience handling production data, and the ability to analyze and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust Python scripts for data migration and transformation
  • Analyze and handle production data with a high degree of accuracy and security
  • Monitor and interpret logs using Splunk to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and service continuity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Denver, CO orbe willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Python development, especially in scripting for automation and data processing
  • Proficiency in working with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval
  • Experience in handling production environments and resolving live issues
  • Familiarity with Splunk for log monitoring and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of PL/SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to Data Warehousing concepts and tools
  • Experience in telecom or service activation domains is a plus
  • Strong experience in Datawarehouse, ETL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
