In the Collateral Specialist role, you will review the Desktop Exterior, Desktop Interior and full review of Mortgage loans and uploads, checklist into applications, along with providing final approvals.
In the role of Process Specialist, you will execute transactions as per prescribed guidelines and timelines, reviews and validates the inputs from the other team members, support your manager in training activities, daily operations reviews and help in escalation resolution with the objective to meet service level agreement targets for the specific process within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

- Manage the process flow of real estate appraisals ready for review
- Verify that appraisals adhere to industry standards, AMC guidelines, and client-specific requirements
- Communication with the Appraisal Management Company (AMC) vendor during the review process
- Monitors residential real estate issues including market conditions, governmental regulations, and economic conditions to recommend changes to policies and procedures
- Coordinate with the Offshore team and share the findings
- Perform the quality check of the Offshore Appraisal task and submit the application in Sprint
- Conducting comprehensive collateral audits, ensuring end-to-end accuracy of loans and adherence to regulatory and internal company guidelines
- Determines eligibility of collateral based on documentation review and communicates results to the appropriate individuals/departments
- Assist in training staff on appraisal policy and procedures, valuation methodology, evaluations, risk factors, and appraisal review
- Assisting in the maintenance and update of Appraisal checklists and procedures
- Completing all assignments within allotted timeframes as per the contractual requirements
- Supervises Appraisal Reviewer and provides support on complicated review
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA lending guidelines.
Basic
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
- Should have knowledge of commonly used mortgage concepts, practices, procedures, and Fannie Freddie guidelines to complete his task
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data
- Ability to be flexible, multi-task and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills, combined with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; knowledge of Compliance rules and regulations
- Self-starter and the ability to work on projects with limited supervision
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
