Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP SD Consultant:
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Location of this position is Fort Worth, TX.

- At least 11 years of experience in SAP SD/O2C experience; 2+ full-cycle implementations including at least one S/4HANA brownfield conversion.
- Strong configuration expertise in SD: order types, pricing, outputs (BRF+), shipping/transportation integration, billing, credit management, aATP/Backorder Processing, intercompany.
- Proven integration experience with WMS/TMS/3PL, Tax, Payments, CRM, GTS, and EWM or WM.

- We are hiring an experienced SAP SD Lead to drive the Order-to-Cash (O2C) workstream for a large-scale ECC → S/4HANA brownfield conversion in a regulated eye care / medical devices environment.
- The role owns solution design, conversion readiness, testing, and cutover for SD, ensuring seamless order management, pricing, availability, delivery, billing, and integration with external systems (CRM, WMS/TMS, 3PL, Tax, Serialization/UDI, Label/Print, Payments).
- Lead the O2C/SD workstream through SAP Activate phases (Prepare → Explore → Realize → Deploy → Run).
- Facilitate fit-to-standard/delta design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and decision logs.
- Billing & Invoicing (incl. credit management & dispute processes)
- Intercompany sales and third-party dropship
- EDI/IDoc flows with customers/3PLs (orders, ASN, invoices)
- Integration & External Systems
- Integrate with CRM (lead-to-order), WMS/TMS/3PL, Tax (Vertex/OneSource), Payment gateways, Serialization/UDI and labeling systems, GTS (sanctions, embargoes, ECCN, license determination), and MDG for BP/material governance.
- Define and validate EDI mappings (850/855/856/810, etc.), error handling, monitoring, and SLAs.
- Collaborate with FI, MM, PP, QM, EWM for end-to-end flows (sales → pick/pack/ship → billing → revenue recognition → returns/RMA).
- Compliance & Controls (Life Sciences)
- Ensure SOX controls across O2C: pricing changes, credit releases, billing, and revenue postings.
- Align with GxP/CSV practices for any validated processes/systems; support 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for electronic records/signatures where relevant (e.g., credit approvals).
- Support UDI/serialization in logistics, lot/batch traceability, and recall readiness.
- Testing, Data & Cutover
- Define test strategy and scripts for Unit, SIT, E2E, UAT, regression, and CSV validation where applicable; maintain traceability from requirements.
- Own data migration scope for SD: customers/BPs, pricing conditions, credit data, open transactions (SO/Deliveries/Invoices), and rebates.
- Lead cutover for O2C: freeze windows, backlog plans, reconciliation (order/delivery/billing), credit exposure, and post-go-live monitoring.
- Partner with business stakeholders (Sales Ops, Customer Service, Distribution, Finance) on process changes, Fiori app enablement, training assets, and role-based access.
- Provide executive-ready status, risks/mitigations, and KPI dashboards.
- Lead end-to-end O2C design includes sales orders, quotations, contracts, deliveries, billing, and credit management.
- Configure SAP SD components such as pricing procedures, partner functions, outputs, condition techniques, and item categories.
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, FI, PP, and warehousing systems (WM/EWM).
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into design documents and functional specifications.
- Lead SIT/UAT cycles, manage defects, and validate interfaces (IDoc/BAPI/OData/API).
- Prepare and support SD-related cutover activities including open orders, billing due lists, pricing loads, and customer master updates.
- Support go-live readiness, training, and hypercare stabilization.
- Ensure process compliance with SOX, SOD, and audit standards.
- Drive continuous improvements across pricing, returns, credit, and delivery processes.
- Create reusable templates, documentation, and functional playbooks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor/SI coordination skills.
- The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
