Principal Salesforce Vlocity Architect

As a Principal Salesforce Consultant, in this role you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

Job Description :
  • 15+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Salesforce architecture roles. Prior experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect in large CRM transformation programs.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Communication Cloud (Vlocity) -OmniStudio, CPQ, EPC, DPA, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors.
  • Extensive experience in Telecom, Media, or High-Tech industries.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and governor limits.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade integrations using Mulesoft, Kafka, or similar middleware.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Copado, Jenkins, Git) and Agile methodologies.
  • Salesforce certifications: System Architect, Application Architect , and Vlocity Communications/OmniStudio Consultant preferred.
Role Responsibilities :
  • Lead the end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce Communication Cloud implementations.
  • Design scalable, performant, and secure multi-cloud Salesforce solutions with Vlocity Industry Process Libraries (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
  • Define architecture blueprints, data models, and solution patterns that align with enterprise standards.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and product owners to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Present architecture strategies and decisions to C-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive requirements clarification, solution workshops, and architecture sign-offs.
  • Define integration strategy and architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, Kafka, etc.
  • Lead data modeling and transformation strategy across Salesforce and downstream systems (e.g., Order Management, Billing, ERP).
  • Provide hands-on guidance to development teams on Vlocity components like OmniStudio, CPQ, EPC, and Vlocity Cards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Define and enforce development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Support large, globally distributed teams across multiple vendors and delivery centers.
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and change control in a dynamic program environment.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Customer Success, Support, and Product teams for escalations and roadmap alignment.
