Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP SAC Planning Principal Consultant

As a principal consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations.
You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan.
You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Principal SAP SAC Enterprise Applications Consultant

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require 50% travel and/or relocation.

    • At least 11 years of experience in analytics planning.
    • Functional Knowledge of Financial Planning processes like Revenue Planning, Product cost planning, Profitability Planning, Workforce Planning, Opex Planning, Capex Planning , P&L Planning, Balance sheet and Cash flow planning including knowledge of cross process and information integration across the different planning processes
    • Knowledge of driver-based planning and knowledge of common drivers in different planning processes
    • High level knowledge of S/4 processes like Cost Allocation, Depreciation Simulation etc.
    • Knowledge of standard Finance Reports and variance reporting, KPIs and Dashboard
    • Minimum 2 -3 full lifecycle experience in SAP Planning technologies like SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BPC (BPC Standard or BPC Embedded in any of the following versions 10.1, 11, 11.1, 2021)
    • Minimum 6-12 months experience in working on SAC Planning implementation
    • Excellent knowledge of integration of SAP Analytics Cloud with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA, DWC (Import and Write back)
    • Knowledge of best practices for configuring SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning considering the overall architecture to achieve integration, high performance, and stability.
    • SAC Planning hands on knowledge on data modelling, preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculation, grouping, formatting values, data wrangling and knowledge of core SAP Analytics cloud planning features like Dimensions, Planning models (New Model and Classic account model) , formulas &calculations, Input layouts, stories, Analytics Designer, Data Actions(Copy, Cross model copy, Advanced formula), Multi actions, Allocations, distribution, Predictive planning, Value driver tree, Currency translation, Validation rules, Calendar (Workflow organization), security concept (MDP & DAC)
  • Ability to manage Client expectations and alignment with Client stake holders - For all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to co-ordinate deliverables with the Client team and obtaining signoffs
  • Define scope control procedures and manage Program scope from functional deliverables perspective.
  • Perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and perform testing accordingly to support the build sessions and to fulfil the customer's business process requirements.
  • Manage and resolve issues. Manage and assist in mitigating risks.
  • Coordination of global roll-out activities for Planning processes
  • Roll-out project and data migration activities
  • SAP product development and testing

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA / WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN : $114,000 to $167,000
In Washington, DC : $106,00 to $147,500
