Principal Consultant - DevOPS

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with experience in DevOPS . In this role, you will provide technical guidance to teams; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of related work experience.

• You need to be technically proficient and responsible for quality related to the design, build and implementation of the product/service.
• Experience of working closely with the project manager/architect and act as a guide to the team.
• Expertise in IT Sysadmin, DevOps, Middleware administrator, Cloud, Automation engineer.
• Knowledge of designing / Architect and Implementation of CI/CD using tools like Git/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Terraform etc. Migration of large-scale enterprise applications to AWS and Azure from OnPrem and cloud to cloud.
• Able to remediate vulnerabilities via Automation and continuous patching to mitigate security vulnerabilities and hardening systems and network. Build and manage tools like Jenkins/bitbucket, jira, confluence, github, gitlab,Code pushes through Jenkins/Bitbucket, git, Hermes, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Shell scripts etc.
• Hands on experience in deploying, implementing, testing and support of full life cycle implementations of various J2EE/Internet/Intranet and distributed applications.
  
  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
