Power BI Consultant
As a Power BI Consultant, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure and Reporting Systems Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize enterprise-level reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI Report Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and other related tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, ensuring seamless functionality and scalability of reporting systems.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to any of the hub locations area of Tempe, AZ, Richardson, TX; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Indianapolis, Providence, RI

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
- Strong experience with Power BI Report Server, SSRS, SSAS, and AAS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, REST APIs).
- Expertise in Active Directory, role-based security, and authentication protocols.
- Candidate should work as per the PST time zone
- Technical Skills - Power BI (PBIRS, PBIS), SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS), Azure Analysis Services (AAS), MS Fabric, SAS (Statistical Analysis System), Scripting Tools: PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Monitoring Tools: Server health monitoring, capacity usage tools, Authentication: Active Directory, Kerberos, Data Governance: Metadata analysis, compliance tools
- Experience with MS Fabric and SAS platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of DAX query optimization and tabular model design.
- Familiarity with integrating reporting tools with external applications.
- Proven ability to educate and mentor development teams on best practices.
- Experience in developing internal cost/usage and metadata reports.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience to Healthcare domain would be good to have.
- Hands-on experience with server upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning.
- Hands-on experience of SQL Server, Databricks, and data governance policies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for incident tickets and performance issues.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
