Oracle FIN Cloud Sr. Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle Finance Cloud. Person will be responsible for financials solutioning in Oracle fusion application, will own solution design, configurations, demo of key functionalities to clients and overall implementation of financials solution/flow (General Ledger, Account Receivables, Account Payables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets) in Oracle fusion applications. Person will be responsible to provide expertise in implementing industry best practices and customizing the Oracle fusion applications as per client requirements to enable business processes. Person should be conversant with general accounting principles. Person will interact with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business process owners and other IT stakeholders across geographies to understand and analyze existing (As-Is) processes and design To-Be process flows per business requirements. Person will be responsible to guide a team of functional and technical consultants to implement to-be solutions in respective functional area. Person will provide expertise in fusion application configurations as per business requirements, guide technical team to complete system integrations as per business requirements, conduct systems integration testing sessions, user acceptance testing and plan/execute UAT/Production migrations.

Required Qualifications :

  • At least 4+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • The preferred location is Phoenix (AZ). This position may require 100% travel if you are not from the same location as the project.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Person will have excellent hands-on working experience on Oracle fusion applications and deep understanding of finance offerings and its relevance in order to cash and procure to pay business.
  • Person should have at least 2 end to end implementation experience of Oracle General Ledger, and/or Oracle Receivables, and/or Payables.
  • Person should be conversant with the best finance practices in context of Oracle technologies like EBS/fusion - should have commanding knowledge over Oracle Cloud out-of-box offerings and ability to implement various customizations as per business requirements.
  • Person should have excellent understanding of integrating fusion applications with external systems using various integrations options like web services, REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud platform etc.

    Preferred Qualifications :
  • It is preferred that candidate has previously worked in high tech manufacturing companies and has exposure to business flows of such organizations.
  • Person is conversant with Oracle R12 EBS applications and/or any other ERP system as well.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
