Oracle Enterprise Solution Architect - Financials

Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle Solution Architect who will interface with key stakeholders and apply Functional & technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design and solution artifacts. You will also lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate can be located anywhere in USA but must be willing to travel within US per project needs. This position may require 70% travel.

  • At least 11 years of experience in IT
  • Must have experience in solution delivery with best practices of implementation and any possible pitfalls
  • End-to-End knowledge of Finance business processes - R2R, P2P, O2C, A2R and Tax
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Cloud Finance SaaS application, with best practices of implementation.
  • Prior hands on experience in Requirement Elicitation, Business Process Definition, Process Validation, Design, Build and Testing phases of the project
  • Lead a team of consultants in understanding As-Is business processes, analyze/capture client requirements and pain areas by conducting workshops if necessary
  • Perform High-level fit gap analysis and process changes, carry out benchmarking studies, provide assistance to consultants in complex requirements
  • Ability to identify Gaps and evaluate solution options for various Gaps using Industry Best Practices
  • Assist the team in preparation and planning for the workshops, review the work of the team in terms of process documentation , fit -gap analysis documentation and requirement documents, configuration, test scripts etc.
  • Ability to provide/ propose solutions for KDD (Key Design Decisions) by leveraging Industry best practices.
  • Ability to lead through complex process discussions with client giving a holistic POV/Approach, impact and Total cost of ownership
  • Making use of various Oracle as well as organizational methodologies, processes and templates, to lead through a successful implementation as a solution architect
  • Proactively identify risks and possibilities of scope creep and highlight/discuss in the right forum with the required stakeholders
  • Experience in coordinating with Business and other external teams on issues, solution approaches, enhancements and other projects
  • Create knowledge , share and drive the usage of knowledge repositories for team members in structure forums
  • Participate/Drive proposals to propose solution, implementation approaches and ensure accurate estimates for the engagement are provided

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in defining & implementing E2E Oracle solution for CPG companies, preferably those with DSD business model
  • Business process standardization and optimization experience. Knowledge of CPG industry best practices in Financials.
  • Experience in Oracle cloud implementation for Financials [GL, AP, AR, FA etc.]
  • In-depth Exposure and working knowledge of Cash Management, Integration with Banks/Lockbox etc.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, designing, developing.
  • Collaborate with oracle support, consulting and other teams to review requirements, solution, considerations and approach.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
