Oracle Data Base Administrator

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Oracle Database Administrator with strong interpersonal and technical skills. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance, security best practices, create SOPs and other documentation, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate can work remotely from any locations within the U.S. This position may require travel to project location
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience..
• At least 3 years of experinece on Oracle DBA.
• Should be an expert in RAC, ASM, RMAN, Oracle standby maintenance and Dataguard configurations.
• Should be an expert in Patching, Upgradation, and Migration activities.
• Should have prior experience on background in building large database infrastructures supporting high volumes of transactions in a mission-critical environment.
• Expertise in optimizing and performance tuning of databases including drill-down analysis.
• Hands-on Experience in backup and recovery techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline.
• Adhere to Work Instructions and SOP's.
Providing On call support on a rotational basis.
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business, technical teams and higher management
