Infosys is seeking a NodeJS Lead Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Location for this position is Chicago, IL. This position may require travel.
Qualifications
Basic
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4+ years of experience with Information Technology

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL and JSON.
- Experience writing unit tests using JEST.
- Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
- Knowledge of Headless CMS implementations.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms.
- Ability to learn and adopt coding standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Node.js applications with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Utilize GraphQL for building and optimizing APIs.
- Integrate and manage a Headless CMS for seamless content delivery.
- Write and maintain unit tests using the JEST testing framework to ensure code quality and prevent future issues.
- Work with Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.
- Develop and enhance eCommerce platforms, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to align the roadmap with technical strengths and opportunities.
- Follow coding standards and best practices, continuously improving code quality.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face
