MANDATORY TECHNOLOGIES

  • Security products from Radware, Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto
  • Security technologies/products, such as DDoS, proxy, VPN, firewall orchestration and network access control
MAIN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Five or more years of Network and Security Engineering experience, with an emphasis on security products from Radware, Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in well-known security technologies/products, such as DDoS, proxy, vpn, firewall orchestration and network access control
  • Experience in network security hardening and controls as well experience using network monitoring and logging tools (i.e. SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK)
  • Critical thinker who can work in high-pressure situations due to the unpredictable nature of cyber threats.
  • Open to travel. This is a fully remote position, but travel could range from 0% to 10% depending on the needs of the business
  • Advanced understanding of network defense technology both on premise and cloud.
  • Experience with Radware Defense Pro hardware
  • Experience with Cisco ISE
  • Understanding of network security best practices
  • Knowledge of native firewalls in AWS and Azure

PROJECT ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of Network Security Engineer.
  • Design, architect, engineer and operate cutting edge hybrid DDoS solutions to provide protection across multiple data centers and corporate offices.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of DDoS attack incidents, including attack vectors, volume, and duration, to identify trends and patterns for proactive defense enhancements.
  • Lead forensic analysis of complex attacks, establishing yourself as a trusted security advisor internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans specifically tailored to DDoS attacks ensuring quick response and efficient recovery.
  • Effectively collaborate with various teams within the organization as well as external vendors and partners to provide real time protection, detection, mitigation and resolution of security events.
  • Able to technically execute on a variety of network cyber defensive tactics, approaches, and solutions.
