Network Implementation Engineer

Infosys is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer who has hands-on experience on DWDM and OTN equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tulsa, OK be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience in DWDM and OTN equipment's platform - like Adva R7, Ciena NGO, Huawei 6800 DWDM. End to end configuring / provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting on EMS/ NMA.
• Experience in Testing and troubleshooting on layer 1 and Layer 2 of OSI model (Ethernet/Sonet 1G, 10G, 100G, STM1-1/OC3, STM-4/OC12, STM-16/OC-48, E1/T1).
• Experience with project management from planning, optimization, implementation, acceptance, and traffic utilization for customer and internal circuits on SONET and DWDM system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Having knowledge of TIRKS system to support Planning and Provisioning. This would need understanding of HECIG code, transport equipment's, cable path, fiber path, cross connect into LIMS design.
• Ensure quality assurance on all disconnect procedures being performed correctly to mitigate.
• Experience in Testing and troubleshooting on layer 1 and Layer 2 of OSI model (Ethernet/Sonet 1G, 10G, 100G, STM1-1/OC3, STM-4/OC12, STM-16/OC-48, E1/T1).
• Participate in an on-call rotation for assigning/tracking work outside of normal business hours.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
